San Marco Canal

Doge's Palace is the pinkish building to the left. Water taxis are straight in front (they are expensive, I think they were 50 Euro and up). You can see a man wrapped up with a hooded anorak: it was windy and chilly in March. Still, there are lots of people milling around Doge's Palace (with renovations going on). Took this photo from a waterbus.
