Not all gondolas go under the Venice bridge on the Grand Canal. Most just do a tour around the area where they pick up the tourists. Looks nice, but be ready for a thousand eyes looking at you. Like Doge's Palace (or Dodgy palace as we like to call it), there are three million tourists per square metre in this area.
